        And/or
- You manage your subscribers list via the list management interface on AuctionContact web site.
- Once a week our software collects your active auctions and sends a newsletter to your customers, listing your active auctions and links to each auction.

A: The following information is included in the newsletter (in the order specified):

- Your custom message
- Auction Title
- Auction End Date & Time
- Current Price
- Link to auction page

A: First twenty-five (25) active auctions are included in the weekly newsletter.
Up to twenty-five active auctions are included in a weekly newsletter because that way you are informing your customers about your auctions, but they are still not overloaded with a big list of auctions.
The first auction in the newsletter will be the one that is most recently listed on the auction site.

A: A custom message is a message you want to appear at the top of your newsletter.

A: You can change it as often as you want or you do not have to change it at all.

A: One example would be, if one week you have some specific items for sale that you want to draw closer attention to your customers.
For example, during the Christmas season you might want to say:

Dear customers,

Please take a look at these fine items we have for sale.
They would make a perfect Christmas gift for your spouse or friends.
During this Christmas season we are offering FREE shipping for any of our items.

Merry Christmas and happy bidding!

A: There are few ways to subscribe to your newsletter:
One way is that you invite your customers to join your newsletter by providing a link in your email messages.
Another way is to insert a "Subscription Form" in your web site or online store. This way visitors will be able to join your newsletter without leaving your site.
You can also add email addresses of your customers manually through our list management interface. However, you most first have a permission to enter somebody’s email address. AuctionContact has a firm anti SPAM policy.

A: Yes. At the bottom of each newsletter there is a direct link to the page where customers can unsubscribe by clicking on just one button. When they subscribe to your newsletter they have an option to choose for how many weeks they want to receive your newsletter. Available options are: "Until I Unsubscribe", 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 10 weeks, and 15 weeks.

A: Spaming is NOT allowed. We monitor large imports of email addresses and if we determine account abuse we reserve the right to terminate those accounts.

A: You can choose the day on which your newsletters will be sent. Available days are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Newsletters are sent at 10:30pm ET on those days. This may change in the future due to increased number of members. We will notify all of our members of any changes.

A: If you do not have any active auctions at the time when our system sends newsletters your newsletter will NOT be sent. However, if you have auctions the next week our system will send your newsletter.

A: If the newsletter returns with the message that the user no longer exists or with a permanent address error we remove those email addresses from your subscriber lists automatically. We do this so that you would not be paying for email addresses that do not exist.

A: All replies to your E-Newsletters will be sent to this email address. If you do not enter an email address, replies will be sent to the email address used to register for the AuctionContact account. This way, when your customers receive your E-Newsletter they can just hit a “Reply” button and contact you about your auctions.

A: When you check the "Show Thumbnails" check box your newsletter will include item picture for all those items that Gallery picture. Items that do not have a Gallery picture will be shown as with regular newsletter listing.

A: When you select "Show Thumbnails" option in your account profile, your newsletters will include item picture. However, your subscribers will have an option to choose not to receive newsletters with thumbnails. Just as some people prefer to receive plain text email there are people who would prefer not to receive images in their email messages. AuctionContact makes it easy for your subscribers to switch between email formats they wish to receive.

A: NO! Only if you select "Show Thumbnails" in your account profile will your subscribers have an option to choose newsletters with thumbnails. If you do not select "Show Thumbnails" option, your subscribers have two newsletter styles to choose from: HTML and Plain Text.

A: AuctionContact enables your customers to receive e-newsletters that include only items that they are interested in. This is accomplished by using keywords. When your customers subscribe for your newsletter they can enter keywords just as they would in eBay’s search box.

The following table outlines the syntax that can be used when specifying keywords:
